1. WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

Information you provide

The personal information we collect depends on how you interact with us. It may include:
  • name, email address, telephone number, billing address, shipping address, and contact preferences;
  • account or authentication information, if accounts are available;
  • order details, products purchased, transaction amounts, returns, refunds, and customer-service history;
  • messages, questions, reviews, survey responses, event information, and other content you choose to send us;
  • marketing preferences and consent records.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. OXENIR may receive transaction confirmations, payment status, billing details, and limited payment-method information, but Stripe handles and stores complete payment card data. Stripe’s Privacy Policy is available at https://stripe.com/privacy.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and interactions with the website. We use this information for security, functionality, analytics, consent management, and marketing measurement.

Information from service providers

We may receive information from service providers that help process payments, host and secure the website, deliver orders, provide analytics, manage cookies, send communications, or prevent fraud. We do not intentionally purchase personal profiles from data brokers.

Sensitive information

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as health diagnoses, biometric identifiers, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, or sexual orientation. Please do not send sensitive information unless it is necessary and we specifically request it for a lawful purpose.

2. HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may use personal information to:
  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Services;
  • process payments, orders, deliveries, returns, exchanges, and refunds;
  • communicate about orders, products, policies, service changes, and administrative matters;
  • respond to questions, complaints, and customer-support requests;
  • send marketing communications when permitted and in accordance with your preferences;
  • request feedback and understand customer experience;
  • personalize website content and measure the effectiveness of campaigns;
  • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal rights and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
  • carry out another purpose that we identify when collecting the information or that you consent to.

3. WHAT LEGAL BASES DO WE RELY ON?

Where Canadian privacy law applies, we collect, use, and disclose personal information with meaningful consent unless the law permits or requires otherwise. Consent may be express or implied depending on the sensitivity of the information and the reasonable expectations of the individual. You may withdraw consent, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Where another jurisdiction requires a specific legal basis, we may rely on consent, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, or legitimate interests that are not overridden by your rights, as applicable.

4. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We may disclose personal information to service providers that perform services for us and require the information to do that work. Depending on the Services enabled, these may include:
  • Stripe for payment processing and fraud prevention;
  • website hosting, security, analytics, and consent-management providers, including GoDaddy and Adobe Analytics where enabled;
  • shipping carriers and fulfilment providers for order delivery;
  • email, customer-support, and marketing service providers;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, insurers, consultants, and legal counsel.
Service providers are authorized to use personal information only as needed to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by law. Some providers may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that jurisdiction. We may also disclose information:
  • to comply with a subpoena, warrant, court order, lawful request, or other legal obligation;
  • to investigate fraud, protect rights or safety, enforce agreements, or respond to an emergency;
  • in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, sale, reorganization, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate safeguards;
  • with your direction or consent.
We do not sell personal information for money. Where targeted advertising or analytics may be treated as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain laws, you may use the cookie controls described in the Cookie Policy or contact us to exercise an applicable opt-out right.

5. COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels, and web beacons, to operate the website, remember preferences, maintain security, understand site usage, and measure marketing. Essential technologies are required for core functions; non-essential technologies are used according to consent choices where required. Specific information about cookies and how to manage them is provided in our Cookie Policy at https://oxenir.com/cookie-policy. You can also use the Cookie Preference Center available through the website banner or settings link.

6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to meet legal, tax, accounting, warranty, fraud-prevention, and dispute-resolution obligations, or as otherwise permitted by law. As a general operating guideline, basic contact, marketing, device, and analytics records may be retained for up to one year after they are no longer actively needed, unless consent is withdrawn earlier or a longer period is justified. Order, payment, tax, accounting, complaint, and legal records may be retained longer where required or reasonably necessary. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it until deletion is possible.

7. HOW DO WE PROTECT PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including access controls, secure service providers, encryption in transit where supported, account and system security measures, and procedures for handling incidents. No Internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we will take reasonable steps to protect information and respond to suspected breaches in accordance with applicable law.

8. CHILDREN AND MINORS

The Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child without appropriate consent. A minor may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at info@oxenir.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Access and correction

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete. We may need to verify your identity before responding and may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law.

Withdrawal of consent and deletion

You may withdraw consent to certain uses or request deletion of personal information, subject to legal obligations, contractual restrictions, fraud-prevention needs, and information that we must retain. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

Marketing communications

You may unsubscribe from promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. You may still receive non-marketing messages about orders, customer service, safety, security, or policy changes. We do not share mobile opt-in data or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Cookie choices

You may manage non-essential cookies through the Cookie Preference Center and through browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality.

Complaints

You may contact us with a privacy concern. We will investigate and respond as required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or another applicable privacy regulator.

10. DO-NOT-TRACK SIGNALS

Some browsers provide a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) signal. Because there is not yet a uniform standard for interpreting DNT signals, the Services do not currently respond to them automatically. You may manage cookies using our Cookie Preference Center and browser controls. If a legally required standard becomes applicable, we will update this Policy.

11. RIGHTS IN OTHER JURISDICTIONS

Residents of certain jurisdictions may have additional rights, such as the right to know whether we process personal information, access it, correct it, request deletion, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing, and appeal a denied request. These rights are subject to exceptions and verification requirements under applicable law. To exercise an applicable right, email info@oxenir.com and describe your request. You may use an authorized agent where the law permits, but we may require proof of authorization and identity. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, Services, or legal obligations. The updated version will show a revised “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice through the website or by another appropriate method.
